Persevere: Getting fit and healthy is a marathon, not a sprint. You cannot expect total transformation to happen overnight. But keep at it. You will reach your goal eventually, whether it take weeks, months or years.
Set timed goals: Without a deadline, goals can become fuzzy and undefined. Saying “I want to lose 25 kilos in 6 months” is better than saying “I want to lose 25 kilos eventually”.
Eat to build muscle: If building muscle is your goal, a low-calorie diet will not help you achieve that. It is not about cutting calories, but about eating the foods that help build lean tissue.
